So I think I may be a tad cocoNUTS!

So it occurs to me that everyone has an obsession with something; a favourite song, a film perhaps?Nope my obsession is sourcing natural beauty products...sometimes about as natural and raw as you can get...!

I sometimes wonder what a cavewoman's skin complexion looked like under all that excess hair?!

Anyway, back to the blog...I have spoken to a lot of women recently about their skincare routine, specifically what they use to remove their make up. Up until about a year ago I only used make up wipes and now I steer clear!

Some girls have said to me they use:

Johnson's Baby oil?

Micellar Water?

Plain, perfume free soap?

Some have even said they just use warm water!

Well I have a new one for you all this evening. Actually, I fib. It's not new at all and i'm more than positive that plenty of women around the globe are doing the same thing.

COCONUT OIL

Pure, unrefined coconut oil, which is like a hard wax until it warms.

I actually purchased this one from Ebay and I use it not just for removing my make up but for these reasons as well...

Dry patches - makes an awesome body butter alternative!

Hair Conditioner - mix a little with warm water and mask your hair in this for around 10 minutes before rinsing!

Scrub - Mix a little with sugar or sea salt depending on how course you want the scrub to be!

Cooking - it is superb when cooking chicken breasts, in curries or Thai food!

Smoothies - I made some absolutely gorgeous Pineapple and Banana smoothies the other weekend...add a dollop of this too for a PinaColada themed smoothie!

I cannot sell this stuff enough and I trade in make-up not Coconuts....

So before you think I have gone a little nuts, grab yourself a jar. It lasts ages, I think this one will keep me going for about 3 months!!

Try it out and let me know what you think,

Thank you for reading and have a beautiful evening <3

Becoming a Younique Presenter!

I cannot contain my excitement and have to tell you all! I decided (after months and months of wanting to) to join the Younique family and become a Presenter! This is something I firmly believe in; everything from their mission to uplift, empower and validate women globally to the actual products they sell.

I'm not going to be hitting this hard and pushing sales on people. That is not what this is about. Once I receive my starter pack (as shown above) I think it is important for me to test and product review every single item.

I really cannot wait to get my hands on the Moodstruck 3D fiber lashes - many a time I have fallen out with a pair of falsies and got glue all over my hands!

I have been keen to join Younique for a long time now and cannot wait to work hard and earn rewards along the way! I think it will do a lot for my own confidence whilst I hope I can help women feel great too at the same time!

I also love that I can be reassured the products being used daily by my friends, my family, my customers will be cruelty free and free from harmful chemicals and ingredients.

So, there it is!

If you do want to check out my page just click here.

Also I have a new facebook page now for all things BLOG and Younique :)

I will be sharing my posts, my parties and anything else fun and exciting I discover along the way!

Thank you for reading as always!

I'm back... and I have a beauty review with me!

Wowzer! It has been a while, I know. As I sit here sheepishly trying to reconnect with my blog and my fellow bloggers, thoughts come flooding by of all the wonderful products that I've tried and tested since February.

Too many.

Far, far too many.

Now that I am moved in with the fella and settled I can get back on this and fully dedicate some time to sharing my thoughts with you all. More importantly though I have truly missed your blogs too and really really look forward to catching up on your posts too!

Today I want to talk to you about a neat little product I found for around £5.

L'oreal's Triple Active Nourish moisturiser for hydrating normal to very dry skin is fabulous. On first impressions the packaging is sophisticated with its pearly lid, white container and gold lettering! Not bad for a product I found in a supermarket...

Next, I always like to smell my moisturiser. This one is ever so slightly perfumed but it is not over powering. I find this a relief because more often than not the heavily perfumed moisturisers are the ones that affect my sensitive t-zone the most!

The consistency of the moisturiser is not too heavy, although it is thick. It's hard to describe but you know as soon as you dab a bit to your face that this is a decent moisturiser, not watery and going to work on difficult areas fast!

I have been using it for a few days now and it is really helping my forehead and cheeks combat the dryness I was suffering... I blame the British weather!!

Try it out, see if it works....and as always give me feedback!

Thank you for reading ladies,
